The following are the menu items available when you click on the File menu.
| New | If the screen or source editor is active then this will create a new screen form or source file, otherwise this will have no effect. |
| Open | If the screen or source editor is active then this will display the standard open dialog box, otherwise this will have no effect. |
| Save | If the screen or source editor is active then this will save the active item without any further action on your part, however, the screen form/source file will not close. |
| Save As | If the screen or source editor is active then this will display the standard save as dialog box. However, the screen form/source file will not close after the save action. If you do complete the save the name of the object on the tab and at the bottom of the screen will change to the new name. |
| Close | If the screen or source editor is active then this will close the active item. |
| If the source editor is active then this will print the active item. |
| Exit | This will exit from the screen/source editor. If you have active screen/source items that have been modified you will be asked if you want to save the files before the program exits completely. |
