If you want a message to be displayed in a TStatusBar object on the form you can place the name of that status bar object here.  Click on the drop down arrow and choose the TStatusBar object from the list.  The message you want to display must be put in the HelpStatusBarMsg property.

 

NOTE:  For this process to work you must check the SimplePanel (set to .True.) property in TStatusBar.  If you set the HelpStatusBar and HelpStatusBarMsg and nothing displays, check the SimplePanel property first.
